Blog Post the First

For several months I have pondered starting a serious blogging platform.  Really I am compelled to since I finished writing a short book this year.  I'm in the process of editing it and will self publish it. In the etiquette of authoring a book you must have a blog or a website on which to display your book.

This is not my first blog.  For the last eight years I have blogged sometimes regularly and also very irregularly mostly for fun and to improve my writing.  Now because of my book, my desire to express myself, and the times we live in, I would like to share my knowledge and sensibilitiesI was finally able to return to Blogger which is easier to understand.  I'd opened an account on Wordpress because for several months I couldn't access Blogger on Goggle Chrome which is the browser I mainly use.  Because of my job email account set up by my employer on Gmail, I was blocked from Blogger.  I didn't know what happened until recently.  I decided to try to return to this platform through Firefox one night, and it worked.

I will post weekly.  I haven't chosen a specific day that I will publish posts, but once weekly it will be.

Who am I and what will this blog and my vBlog on YouTube be about?  First of all, I'm an ESL teacher who is passionate about teaching and education.  At this time I work at home teaching English online to people in Southeast Asia.  My employer is in Hanoi, Vietnam.  I've also taught here in the US and in Botswana and Turkey.  I began my profession as a 6th Social Studies and English teacher.  I would describe myself as an outsider.  Standard labels that most people cling to for an identity does not apply to me.  I would sum it up best about myself using what a former blogger who is Iraqi Tweeted about herself once, 'I'm an insider looking out and an outsider looking in.'  Some of my writings will be from a Christian perspective, so prepare for truth not of this world.

What this blog and my vBlog on YouTube will be about is below this blog's title.  I may create videos on YouTube more than once weekly and post them on here.  I will discuss my observations and opinions on life and where others do not discuss solutions, I willIf there is a problem, there is also a solution.  The challenge is to implement the solution instead of allowing a problem to fester.

I look forward to comments.  Trolls and spam will be blocked.
